Welcome back to school everyone after the half term break. This is such a busy half term, so I have added important dates to the back of this newsletter up until the end of term. Please note in your diary our Christmas Fayre date, (Sat 27th Nov) and information will follow in the next few weeks about a children’s raffle that we are having shortly  in school. As ever, as new dates are available, they will be added to the back of the newsletter. Hope you all have fun if attending bonfires and firework event over the weekend.

The school nurse will be in school on Tuesday (9th Nov). Should you have any worries or issues that you wish to discuss with her, she will be available from 9.00 – 11.00am

                                                                                                                Poppies
We will be selling poppies on Monday – Friday next week for your children to buy. We have some poppy stickers that will be available for the younger children as they are “pin free”. Please send a small contribution into school to purchase a poppy should your child want one. If the money could be in an envelope labelled “poppies” and their name on it, it would be most helpful, thank you.  We will have a special assembly on Thursday 11th November starting at 10.40 am ending in a two minutes silence at 11.00am. If you wish to attend, you are more than welcome to join us. Also, should you have any family medals or photographs of family members who fought in the wars, we would love to show them to the children. We promise to take great care of them as we know they are precious, thank you.



                                                                        Sunshine Club

You are invited to join us for story time in the Hedgehog class on a Monday afternoon 3.00pm -3.20pm. This is a lovely opportunity to share a story with your child and a few of his/her friends and spend some time in your child’s class. Just turn up, you are more than welcome!
